Work on six mature trees at a property on Loudoun Road in Newmilns has been approved, under an application lodged with East Ayrshire Council in June.
The application covers a lime, a copper beech, a further beech, a maple and a sycamore. Most are to be reduced by around thirty per cent and reshaped, with deadwood removed and crowns lifted.
Trees in conservation areas and those covered by preservation orders require consent before any work is carried out, even where the work is routine maintenance.
The application, reference 26/0308/TP, was validated on 24 June.
